Nature reserve Het Leesten

Het Leesten is a beautiful nature reserve near the hotel. It is the perfect starting point for lovely hiking trails across the heath, through sand, and through the forests. For visitors who have their dog with them, there is a beautiful dog forest. This is a fenced area of ​​10 hectares where your dog can run freely and play or frolic with other dogs. In addition to this dog forest, there is also the marked "natteneuzenroute"; a 5-kilometer hiking trail where your dog can also run freely. This natteneuzenroute goes through open areas.

In the center of the area, there is an information center of Staatsbosbeheer and the forest pavilion 't Leesten.
