Are you fond of horses and would you like to ride outdoors in the Veluwe? Van der Valk Hotel Apeldoorn - de Cantharel offers 12 first-class horse boxes and paddocks where you can stable your own horse. At the horse hotel, we provide basic sports feed from Masters, boxes with running water, lockable tack rooms, and a log cabin for riders; horse riding in the Veluwe will be the highlight of your stay. Additionally, you can also enjoy a ride with the carriage or the horse-drawn tram through the beautiful surroundings of the Veluwe.

Next to the hotel is our stable complex with 12 first-class horse boxes and extensive facilities for you and your horse.
The horse hotel is equipped with all conveniences. Below you will find an overview of the facilities:
12 first-class horse stables of 3 x 3.5 meters, standard equipped with straw (or sawdust upon request)
Basic sports pellets from Masters and hay as feed.
Box with running water
1 indoor horse shower/grooming area equipped with cold and hot water
6 parking spots outside
1 hitching post
8 lockable saddle rooms
20 meadows where the horses can graze and stay overnight
Located along the Veluwetrail and numerous horse riding and carriage routes.
Cozy log cabin equipped with a wood stove and a terrace with a picnic table.
Direct access to routes behind the hotel without paved road.
Horse rental
If you do not have your own horse or are not able to bring your horse to our horse hotel, you can rent horses at Stal Jacobs. You can contact them directly via www.staljacobs.nl or 06-16134328.
