The wellness garden of Van der Valk Hotel Apeldoorn - De Cantharel is an oasis of tranquility. From the hotel, you walk along a cobblestone path to this secluded garden and step into a mini-spa with a swimming pool, bubbling benches, relaxation areas, sauna cabins, and outdoor showers. You can swim from the outdoor pool inside, where comfortable sunbeds and showers await you.
Even those who do not enjoy swimming or saunas can find peace here - simply relaxing with a book can be just as beneficial. In the wellness area, you experience the Veluwe and the hotel in a unique way. For those looking to recharge, our modern fitness room offers the opportunity to stay active during your stay.
The wellness facilities are complimentary services for our hotel guests and are not accessible to external guests.

Good to know
Swimwear is mandatory in all our wellness facilities.
Adults only from 7am-10am & 8pm-10pm.
The wellness garden and the swimming pool are open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Bathrobes are available for rent at the hotel reception, the rental fee is €6.50 per bathrobe. Slippers are only for sale, priced at €1.50 per pair. Due to high demand, it is possible that the stock is limited. If you want to ensure a bathrobe, we recommend bringing your own.
Your room key card provides access to the wellness garden and the swimming pool.
Children under the age of 12 are only allowed when accompanied by an adult.
The use of (inflatable) balls, toys, and air mattresses is unfortunately not allowed.
It is not allowed to consume your own food and drinks. You can use our tea and water facilities for free at the pool bar.
Pets are not allowed in our wellness facilities.
