Climbing forest Garderen
Looking for an active outing in nature during your stay at Van der Valk Hotel Apeldoorn - De Cantharel? Then visit Klimbos Garderen, a unique climbing park in the middle of the Veluwe forests, just a 15-minute drive from the hotel.
Climbing among the trees for young and old
Klimbos Garderen is one of the most beautiful climbing forests in the Netherlands. The park consists of various climbing routes with ziplines, rope bridges and obstacles, at various heights and difficulty levels. Whether you are a beginner or a real daredevil, there is a suitable course for everyone.
Thanks to the smart safety system, you can climb continuously secured, making the park ideal for families, groups of friends or company outings. Children as young as 6 years old (and 1.20 m tall) can already participate, and for the little ones there is a special Junior Klimbos.
This year, Klimbos Garderen was nominated for the Best Outing of the Netherlands 2017.
Natural enjoyment in the Veluwe
What makes Klimbos Garderen extra special is its location: in the middle of the Veluwe, surrounded by tall pines and fresh forest air. You literally climb between the treetops and experience nature in a unique and adventurous way. The park is also fun for spectators to visit; there is a terrace and hiking trails in the area.
