De Boshut

Tucked away among the trees on the edge of the Veluwe lies the charming forest cabin. A cozy accommodation where you can retreat with good company, a stack of books, and a cup of tea by the stove. Where you wake up to the chirping of birds looking out over the countryside. It is a place where you enjoy peace and nature, where you put on your hiking boots and explore the forest, enjoy the setting sun in the outdoor bath on the veranda, and spot roe deer in the field with your binoculars. 

Once checked in at Van der Valk Hotel Apeldoorn – de Cantharel, take a short walk past the vegetable garden. When you reach the forest cabin via a small forest path, you arrive in an oasis of tranquility. The cabin features a wood-burning stove for coziness and warmth on cold days, pleasant seating areas, and is warmly and tastefully furnished. Coffee and tea are ready, and there is a stocked refrigerator every day with wine, beer, and soft drinks. Through the French doors, you step straight from the living room onto your private terrace. The forest cabin features a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate terrace with a heated outdoor pool. For dinner, you can indulge in a culinary experience at the adjacent restaurant Huisje James. The following morning, you can enjoy the lavish breakfast buffet in the restaurant. 

With complete privacy and tranquility, this is truly a place of its own, yet with all the conveniences and luxurious wellness and dining facilities of the hotel farm within easy reach. The forest cabin is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children (ages 3-11). The children sleep on the mezzanine in the living room. You can even bring your own horse, which has its own luxury stable in the equestrian hotel (for a fee). 

Included in the room rate: 
* Daily well-stocked fridge with wine, beer, and soft drinks (fixed selection, redeemable at the shop at the hotel reception) 
* Basket of firewood 
* Use of the hotel's wellness and fitness facilities (swimwear required) 

Excluded from the room rate and available for additional booking: 
* Tourist tax 
* Dinner at Huisje James or de Cantharel (subject to availability) 
* Bicycle rental (standard, e-bike, MTB) 
* Breakfast basket delivered to the Boshut 

Conditions: 
* Parking at the Boshut is not permitted. You may bring your luggage to the Boshut by car; afterwards, we ask that you move your car to the hotel's parking lot. 
* A baby cot is available in the Boshut. Extra beds cannot be added. 
* Room service is not available. 
* Dogs are not allowed. 
* Different cancellation conditions apply for stays of 3 nights or longer. Free cancellation is possible up to 1 week before arrival. Within one week, 70% of the reservation value will be charged. For cancellations within 24 hours of arrival, the full room rate will be charged.
