Guests of the hotel, the restaurant, Huisje James and residents of Ugchelen are most welcome at our Easter fire on the Enk behind the hotel.
Lighting an Easter fire is an old ritual. Paschal fires have been known from written sources since 1559. Easter fires are lit in a part of Europe on the first or second Easter day. For this, a lot of wood is collected and placed on a large bump. Such a hump is sometimes dozens of meters high. When the dark comes in, the fire is lit. The spectacle often attracts many spectators. Often it is a real village happening.
